Coming back for another year of propelling the baseline 2024 Subaru Impreza is the 2.0L SUBARU BOXER® engine. With 152 horsepower at the driver’s command, there is plenty of power to help get daily tasks done around town or highway. This engine is paired with a Continuously Variable Transmission to maximize the acceleration capabilities and smoothness of the hatchback. In the new deluxe RS model of the 2024 Impreza, the powertrain is upgraded to a 2.5L version of the SUBARU BOXER® engine. As such, drivers of an Impreza RS get 182 horsepower to work with and still get the smooth CVT partnered with it. Symmetrical AWD is the gold standard of a modern Subaru and is present in every iteration of the 2024 Impreza.
