Significant updates have been made to the 2024 Subaru Impreza over its 2023 counterpart thanks to the new sixth-generation release of the vehicle. First and foremost, the Impreza is now only available as a hatchback starting with the 2024 model year. With 152 horsepower at the driver’s command, there is plenty of performance to get daily tasks done efficiently. Trims such as the new RS trim get the larger 2.5L version of the engine. This also elevates the performance to 182 horsepower for even more energetic power across town or the highway. The manual transmission that was available in previous iterations of the Impreza is no longer available, making the smooth-shifting Continuously Variable Transmission the sole accompaniment to both energetic engines. One thing that has remained unchanged is the standard implementation of Symmetrical AWD. This allows the hatchback to confidently handle whatever road condition it faces.
